iLEAP 2013: Professional Course for Non-Profit Leaders

iLEAP aims to promote and support the professional development of non-profit leaders and senior executives. Tapping on its unique translational and experiential approach, it is designed for participants from various sectors including the social and health services, community development, charities, education, the arts and environment.

Sessions are conducted in collaboration with carefully selected community partner agencies at their respective service delivery locations. They will share their accounts of non-profit leadership, governance and operational excellence.

Payment Structure

Normal programme fee per attendee is S$4,950. However, Singaporeans/PRs who are full-time staff or board members from registered Charities/IPCs are eligible for a 80% subsidy from VCF, and will pay only $990. (Ref No. PAC0028/FY12)

Please note that only one non-profit leader per charity (Board member, Executive Director or senior management) would be granted VCF funding for the course, and that Employment Pass & Work Permit holders are not eligible for VCF funding under the Accredited Certificate & Specialist Diploma category.

Application Procedure

•  Register your participation for iLEAP 2013 here. The Lien Centre shall assess the eligibility criteria of the applicant based on whether you are a staff/board member of a registered charity/IPC, and if you have not applied for other sources of government funding.

•  Applicant submits a VCF Local Training Grant application via the VWO Corner by 23 Dec 2012, a month before commencement of the iLEAP course.

•  Approved VCF applicants will receive an email, which should be forwarded to the Lien Centre, as proof of eligibility.

•  The participants’s organisation is invoiced the amount of course fees less VCF funding, for payment to the Lien Centre.

•  VCF-eligible participants who are unable to attend the course must write in to VCF Secretariat to withdraw their VCF applications before the course starts. Replacement participants will need to submit new VCF applications before the course starts.


Registration for iLEAP 2012 can be done here. The deadline for all applications is 11 Jan 2013, on a first-come, first-served basis. Only 28 participants will be accepted as we wish to maintain a class size that best enables engaged participation and peer learning.
